A. ACOA has different types of financial aid: repayable (unconditionally or conditionally) and non-repayable. Unconditionally repayable: must be refunded whether the project succeeds or not. Conditionally repayable: must be refunded based on conditions included in your contribution agreement* (such as reaching certain goals). Non-repayable: no refund required as long as you respect the terms and conditions in the contribution agreement.* *A contribution agreement is a contract signed by ACOA and a client receiving funding. It sets out the terms and conditions under which we provide financial assistance, including the terms of repayment, if any
